It looks unnatural, you have exaggerated with the values in Photomatix. It has the feel as if you added neon glow to a single picture. The high dynamic range isn't noticeable, the shadows in the firewood are completely black, the texture is lost, and on the other extreme there are patches in the sky that are completely burned out white. So this isn't a real High Dynamic Range picture, because there it doesn't have higher dynamic range that a single shot.

This is a good example of obtaining a higher dynamic range, you can see a lot of detail in the sky, while also having a lot of texture both on the ground and in the mountains on the horizon. Though I think it was obtained with exposure blending, it's a good example for a natural looking high dynamic range photo.

Thanks for the critic :) "So this isn't a real High Dynamic Range picture, because there it doesn't have higher dynamic range that a single shot."

But single shot?

I used 7 shots if you mean that?

But yea I exaggerated with the values :(

well Im gonna criticize nicely.... You should make the 2 different photos once put together less extreme in the variables (look at the sky to the left, you see the sky, then pure white by the trees) light balanced photos are the key to good HDRs example: [link]

HDRs dont also have to be the same pic, you can get extremely awesome photos by putting 2 different images (but similar!) to get a really awesome effect: [link]

I tried all the above and all examples are from my gallery ^^
